No two days are the same at Summerside Child Care Center! Summerside is more than just a daycare – it’s a special place with special people that strive to make each day new and exciting for your child. Experienced child caregivers and teachers work to ensure the program supports your child’s early-learning journey on the road to educational success. The goal is to take each child’s natural curiosity and add a good dose of encouragement and nurturing to help build confident, motivated and independent students with strong communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
The highly-proven and child-lead curriculum offers plenty of hands-on activities while exposing children to a variety of new experiences and opportunities to participate, learn and grow. Children will enjoy:

Parents receive a daily report describing what their child did each day, his or her moods and emotions, and even what was eaten. Children will often bring a “home version” of a story or song from that day’s program so families can support learning through repetition at home.
Summerside Child Care Center is a fully subsidized and fully accredited daycare centre, offering programming for children aged 12 months to 7 years, from 7 am to 6 pm daily. Children enjoy two snacks and a hot lunch daily, from a menu planned using Canada’s Food Guide. Monthly fees are based on age. Families are welcome to visit the center to see the facilities and daily routine in action and new registrations are now being accepted!
