The African Festival of Arts and Culture is an annual festival that showcases the unique cultural heritage and artistic works of people of African descent living in Nova Scotia. AFRIFEST showcases visual and performing arts, as well as the culture of people of African descent. Their artistic works include visual arts, drumming, jazz, hip-hop, gospel, spoken-word and more.
The annual Africa Festival of Arts and Culture will take place at the Sackville Landing, on Lower Water Street, in Halifax and is open to the public, FREE of charge.
