This summer, provide your tech-savvy children with the ultimate hands-on learning experience! Designed for kids 5-14, Code Ninjas Halifax Summer Camps focuses on crucial life skills such as leadership, creativity, problem-solving, and computational thinking – but with kid-friendly themes they love, like Roblox, Minecraft, 3D Printing, and more!

Morning or Afternoon

Morning sessions will run from 9:00 am to noon, and afternoon sessions will run from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. If you register your kids for both the morning and afternoon sessions, they can stay all day (including supervised Noon – 1:00 pm). Early drop off begins at 8:00 am, and late pickup runs until 5:00 pm.

Camp Topics

3D Modelling Basics (Ages 8-14) – This camp offers the hands-on experience of designing and bringing their ideas to life with Tinkercad.

Cybersecurity Coding (Ages 8-14) – In this camp, kids will explore cyber defense through hands-on adventures like coding their own antivirus or spotting phishing scams.

JR Coding & Electronics (Ages 5-7) – Kids will get hands on and dive into the world of electronics and physical computing!

JR Engineering (Ages 5-7) – This camp is designed to ignite curiosity and foster creativity as children embark on an adventure into the world of STEM.

JR Game Coding (Ages 5-7) – This camp focuses on introducing basic coding concepts to the youngest designers while coding games!

Minecraft Advanced Modding  (Ages 8-14) – Elevate your game experience by mastering the art of customization in Minecraft.

Minecraft Redstone Engineering (Ages 8-14) – Developed for expert Minecraft players, this camp delves into the intricate world of Redstone, Minecraft’s versatile engineering block.

Retro Arcade Coding (Ages 8-14) – In this camp, kids will use Microsoft MakeCode Arcade to breathe new life into iconic arcade games.

Roblox World Building (Ages 8-14) – Geared towards both newbies and seasoned Roblox players, campers will learn to program and craft their own 3D worlds.

Scratch Game Coding (Ages 8-14) – This camp in an introduction to the basics of game design using the kid-friendly visual programming language Scratch.
