This summer, provide your tech-savvy children with the ultimate hands-on learning experience! Designed for kids 5-14, Code Ninjas Halifax Summer Camps focuses on crucial life skills such as leadership, creativity, and problem-solving and computational thinking – but with kid-friendly themes they love, like Robotics, Roblox, Minecraft, and more!
Morning or Afternoon
Morning sessions are will run from 9:00 am – Noon and afternoon session will run from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. If you register your kids for both the morning and afternoon session, they can stay all day (including supervised Noon – 1:00 pm). Early drop off begins at 8:30 am, and late pickup runs until 4:30 pm.
Camp Topics
3D Studio: Creator I (Ages 8-14) – This camp offers the hands on experience of designing and bringing their ideas to life with Tinkercad.
Game Lab: Retro Style (Ages 8-14) – In this camp, kids will use Microsoft MakeCode Arcade to breathe new life into iconic arcade games.
Game Lab: Scratch Edition (Ages 8-14) – This camp in an introduction to the basics of game design using the kid-friendly visual programming language Scratch.
JR Explorers: Bits + Bytes (Ages 5-7) – In this camp, young kids will dive into the fascinating world of electronics and physical computers.
JR Inventors: Creative Engineering (Ages 5-7) – This camp is designed to ignite curiosity and foster creativity as children embark on an adventure into the world of STEM.
JR Gamemakers (Ages 5-7) – This camp will focus on introducing basic coding concepts and will work with coding games.
Minecraft: Modding Masters (Ages 8-14) – Elevate your game experience by mastering the art of customization in Minecraft.
Minecraft: Redstone Realm (Ages 8-14) – Developed for expert Minecraft players, this camp delves into the intricate world of Redstone, Minecraft’s versatile engineering block.
Mission: Digital Data Defenders (Ages 8-14) – In this cybersecurity camp, kids will embark on a journey of digital discovery and defense.
Roblox: World Creators (Ages 8-14) – Geared towards both newbies and seasoned Roblox players, campers will learn to program and craft their own 3D worlds.
