Summertime celebrations are coming to the North End of Halifax! The 12th Annual Gottingen Street Festival will embrace the iconic North End for an exciting community event on July 11, 2026. It will be a day of music, culture, and local pride! Gottingen Street between Cogswell and Buddy Daye Street will be lined with vendors and activities. Stroll down the street and take in the sights of the north end!
It promises to be a great day filled with the talents of local artists, entertainers and more! For the little ones, enjoy giant games, face painting, bubbles, live performances, and more at the Gottingen Street Festival Kids Zone at the Halifax North Public Library from 1:00 – 4:00 PM!
Also on hand for the day will be a diverse array of local artisans and food vendors offering unique products and delicious snacks. This is a great way to meet and support your neighbours living and working in the North End. Celebrate the great diversity and legacy of the neighbourhood and visit the Gottingen Street Festival this July!
