Summertime celebrations are coming to the North End of Halifax! It’s festival season, and three of Halifax’s best are teaming up for one awesome day! The Halifax Mural Festival will be creating beautiful works of art around the city this July. As part of their showcase of completed works, the 11th Annual Gottingen Street Festival is set to team up with them and Unity Fest ’25 for an exciting event on July 12, 2025. Gottingen Street between Cogswell to Buddy Daye Street will be lined with vendors and activities, so you can stroll down the street and take in the sights of the north end.
It promises to be a great day filled with newly unveiled murals, talents of local and international artists, local artisans, business deals, and more! Plus, enjoy giant games, face painting, bubbles, live Hip Hop performances, and more at the Gottingen Street Festival Kids Zone at the Halifax North Public Library from 1:00 – 4:30 pm!
Also on hand for the day will be a diverse array of local vendors offering unique products and delicious food. This is a great way to meet and support your neighbours living and working in the North End. Celebrate the great diversity and legacy of the neighbourhood and visit the Gottingen Street Festival this July!
