Each year, Nova Scotia Heritage Day honours notable Nova Scotians. This year, Nova Scotia Heritage Day is Monday, February 17th and will honour Nora Bernard. Sackville Snow Days Festival
There are fun family events planned for this year’s Sackville Snow Days Festival including a snowman contest, scavenger hunt, colouring contest, snowshoeing, and skating! Snow days do not specifically link with Heritage Day, but it’s a great way to spend time with family.

Meet Your Farmer on Heritage Day
Meet Your Farmer is heading to Cole Harbour Place this Heritage Day. There will be lots of fun for the whole family, including farm bingo, a colouring station, and lots of exhibits to explore.

Most museums are open on Heritage Day, so this would be a great time to check out one of the fantastic exhibits happening this month in HRM. Many locations have FREE admission on Heritage Day.
