February Fun with the City of Saskatoon

Are you looking forward to some February Fun with the City of Saskatoon? This February, join the city’s Winter Play Program, take advantage of the Family Fun February Promotion and join the free Family Day Skate. If you plan a Saskatoon staycation while your kids have time off school, you are in luck because the City has you covered. February break is a wonderful time to fall in love with our Saskatoon winter, enjoy activities outside and create memories with your family.

Drop into a Leisure Centre or Indoor Rink

Are you looking for something to keep your family busy over February Break, try out one of the amazing Leisure Centres. Kids, teens and adults can enjoy swimming, waterslides, court sports, and more. You can also try one of the indoor rinks for public skating and Parent and Tot skating. Facility schedules are available online. The City has added additional public swimming and public skating at the Leisure Centres and indoor rinks during your February break. Winter Play Program

The city is working with communities across Saskatoon to provide some Winter Play! They provide the equipment so families and children can be active and have fun outdoors. They are offering two different February Winter Play Days.

When: February 3, 2024
Time: 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Where: Brevoort Park Rec Unit, 3 Webb Crescent

When: February 10, 2024
Time: 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Where: Westmount Park Rec Unit, 310 Avenue L North

Sessions will be cancelled if the temperature reaches -25C or below with the windchill. Visit saskatoon.ca/servicealerts for cancellation notices.

Family Fun February Promotion

Take advantage of a special Family Fun February promotion! Receive 20% off your next Family, Adult, or Youth Leisure Centre general admission at the Leisure Centres and indoor rinks. This will be good for use at Cosmo, Lakewood, and Lawson Civic Centres; Saskatoon Field House; Shaw Centre; and ACT, Archibald, Cosmo and Lions Arenas. All you need to do is print your coupon or display it on your smartphone on your next visit. You can also enter to win a one-month Family LeisureCard when you redeem your coupon.

Each Family LeisureCard purchased in February will be entered to win a leisure prize pack, including a $50 leisure gift card, duffle bag and water bottle. You can purchase your LeisureCards at any Leisure Centre.

Family Day Skate Event

Everyone is welcome for a free Family Day Skate Event. Dress warm, bring your family, skates and safety gear and enjoy an afternoon of fun. If you don’t feel like skating other activities will be offered outdoors and in the gym including martial arts, arts and crafts and face painting.

Time: 1 pm to 4 pm
Where: Cosmo Civic Centre & Arena, 3130 Laurier Drive.
