Celebrate Canada Day in Saskatoon! Canada Day is just around the corner, and what a day it will be! It is a day to celebrate the great nation we live in, a day to come together in unity and the unofficial kick-off to summer in Saskatoon! We’ve been without celebrations for two years and they are back. Things will be a bit different this year! Starting with the location! The festivities will be in and around River Landing in Saskatoon

Reimagining Canada Day

11 am to 12: Come to the site and learn about Bannock and taste some – the first 1000 people will receive complimentary Bannock and hear how it’s made.

5:30 pm to 6:30 pm Local Knowledge Keepers will share indigenous stories around the amphitheatre stage. Come learn and expand your horizons and understanding.

River Landing Amphitheatre Stage

Performances and music will continue throughout the day from 12 pm to 10:25 pm!

Food Trucks (All day)

There will be no shortage of food at the Canada Day festivities!

Children’s Programming (All day)

Face painting, balloon fun, jumpy toys, games and activities, and more for your little ones!

Citizen Ceremony (6:15 pm to 6:45 pm)

Citizenship Ceremony, Oh Canada and Birthday Cake

Fireworks (10:30pm)

End the night with a BANG!! Watch as the sky lights up with the ultimate culmination of colour and sound in a fireworks display like no other. Fired from Broadway Bridge. Best Views from Traffic Bridge, River Landing I, Rotary Park and more downtown areas!
