We are raising a new generation of readers and book lovers, and this summer, your children can join the TD Summer Reading Club with Saskatoon Public Library. They may already have a love of books, or maybe they are just starting their reading journey, but they will love discovering the joy of picking up a book. The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s largest bilingual summer reading program, and is offered to children of all ages, interests, and ability levels. The reading club inspires kids with books and a focus on celebrating Canadian authors and illustrators. Young readers can track their reading and visit one of our Saskatoon libraries to get fun prizes throughout the summer.
In past summers, 94 percent of parents and caregivers have said their children maintained or improved reading skills, and 98 percent of children have increased or maintained the enjoyment of reading. While reading, your kids can have an adventure without leaving the house, they can find characters to cheer on, and they will learn empathy as their imaginations grow. Club members will spend the summer finding fun on every page as they enhance their language skills.
How Your Kids Can Join the TD Summer Reading Club
Kids can register and create a list online to track summer reading, and they will also have access to free e-books and online activities. You are also invited to visit any library after the start date to sign up in person and grab some books!
TD Summer Reading Club Kickoff
Join Saskatoon Public Library for an exciting kickoff party for the whole family as you celebrate the start of the club! While there, you can sign up for the TD Summer Reading Club, and stay for a puppet show storytime, scavenger hunts, games and more. Even better, the next Community LEGO® Build with Saskatoon Public Library will follow the kickoff from 1 PM to 4 PM.

TD Summer Reading Club Roundups
