What You Can Do at Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park?
Canpotex Train
Hop aboard for a tour on the Canpotex Train. This replica modern-day freight train is a park favourite and rolls along a 626-metre loop through the park. Tourists and locals alike will enjoy the ride and the kids will love waving to people as they ride by.
Ferris Wheel
Soar high above the city on the 20-metre-high Ferris wheel! Kids and adults will enjoy the moment of peace and wonder while appreciating the view from the air of beautiful Spadina Crescent, our famous South Saskatchewan River, and the view of families enjoying a visit to Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park.
Carousel
Twirl around on your choice of carousel animal! Your kids will love picking out a bright and cheery carousel animals from dogs to horses and more.
Children’s Play Area
🆓The children’s play area is free to enjoy and includes water spray features, sand play, and a climbing area. You can also take a peaceful walk around the park on the gorgeous pathways.
The sand area gives children an exhilarating double cable ride, adventure on the log climber, or a challenge to climb the dome mountain. The spray pad operates daily from 10 AM to 8 PM. Your kids will love the water play area where they can explore the water engineering table, use the long-handled pump, explore the forest fountain spray feature, and splash their way through the water scale and jets. The climbing area includes a hill slide, dutch discs, a pyramid tower with a tunnel slide, spinner bowls and a double saucer swing.
Can You Visit Nutrien Playland at Night?
Night Rides at Nutrien Playland | For the young and young at heart, there will be three Night Ride events bringing extra magic to your visit. The rides will be open until 10 PM on June 25, July 31, and August 29, 2026.
How Much Are the Rides at Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park?
Play Packs are the best value, and they never expire so if you don’t use them up this year, you can save them for next year. One ticket per ride is required for the Cantopex train, Ferris wheel and the carousel. Ages 6 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult and 2 and under ride for free. Cash, debit and credit are accepted payment options.
