Theatre Under the Stars is a not-to-be-missed summer event. Each year, the incredible stage at Stanley Park’s Malkin Bowl comes to life with toe-tapping musical delights. For 2025, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is presenting the following two incredible shows:
Roald Dahl’s beloved story about a boy with a special golden ticket comes to life on the TUTS stage in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Follow the classic characters Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, and many others as they experience the tour of a lifetime through the famed Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. This vibrant and whimsical musical extravaganza features upbeat song and dance numbers, incredible costumes, sets, and storytelling to draw in audiences. This show is best suited for children ages 8 and up due to some dark moments.
Oh my god- oh my god you guys! Legally Blonde is back on the TUTS stage this summer! Join Elle Woods and her pup Bruiser as they prove that getting into Harvard Law School is like, not that hard! Full of female friendships, empowerment, and totally great fashion, Legally Blonde will have the whole family toe-tapping to catchy musical numbers and cheering for Elle’s happiness.
*Parental Guidance: Both TUTS 2025 musicals are recommended for children 8 years and above due to some dark scenes (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), sexual content and mild language (Legally Blonde).
