In partnership with Mexico and the United States, two Canadian cities, Vancouver and Toronto, have the honour of hosting matches. How to Volunteer
Whether you call it football or soccer, there is an undeniable energy in being a part of something great. Vancouver is excitedly anticipating welcoming the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup between June 11 – July 19, 2026. With 16 host cities (including π¨π¦ cities Vancouver & Toronto) gearing up to welcome the best players from around the world, you can be a part of the action as a volunteer.
First up, you must be 18+ to volunteer and you must be available for 8 or 9 shifts between June 11-July 19, 2026. Once you complete the online application, FIFA will contact you to set up an interview and proceed with further details. Volunteer positions include everything from welcoming the athletes and helping with arrivals and transport, connecting with fans to assist, or assisting with media relations (just to name a few of the MANY roles available!)
Volunteers will receive official FIFA Volunteer gear, a volunteer certificate, paid meals during every shift, official training, and the opportunity to connect with soccer fans from around the world.
How to Get Game Tickets
Official tickets will become available in phases via lottery, and regular tickets are not yet on sale, but hospitality packages are already on sale (starting at $2,500 per person).
However, you can also enter theΒ Visa Presale Ticket Draw Entry for Visa customers on October 29 at 11:59 PM (EST). Keep in mind that this is not a ticket contest β if you are selected, you will only have the chance to purchase tickets early.
If you are successful in the Visa Presale Ticket Draw, you will be given a date and time slot to purchase tickets (subject to availability), with time slots starting from November 15.

The FIFA World Cup 26 Mascots Unveiled
Celebrating the diversity and unique attributes of all three host countries, the mascots for the FIFA World Cup 26 have been revealed, and they are spectacular! Maple the Moose will represent Canada, Zayu the Jaguar will represent Mexico, and Clutch the Bald Eagle will represent the United States. In an effort to connect with young fans, these mascots are full of colour and playfulness, and will also be included in official FIFA video games. Learn more about each unique character here.
