Your Playcation Destination:
With families planning Canadian destination vacations this summer, Calaway Park offers the perfect family vacation destination just a short distance from Metro Vancouver. Whether you prefer to fly or add Calgary to your summer road trip plans, Calaway Park is the ultimate place for fun! Begin your trip by heading straight for the rides! This is the highlight for most kids, and families can enjoy everything from slow carousel rides to The Vortex, a family thrill rollercoaster that is sure to spike your adrenaline! Once you’ve had your fill of adrenaline-pumping rides, slow down by trying your hand at some fun midway games. Try the crowd-favourite game ‘Fried Frogs’, test your reflexes playing Whack-a-Mole, and impress your family with your tossing skills playing Tin Can Alley. Grab some food from one of the six restaurants in the park and settle in for some live entertainment at the Celebration Stage. Shows are about 25 minutes in length, which provides the perfect opportunity for your crew to eat and enjoy spectacular magicians or a circus show. Plus, starting June 20th, two brand new stage shows begin featuring Calaway Live. Don’t miss Once Upon a Whatever and Pop in the Park at the Celebration Stage.
The fun continues after lunch! Relax and enjoy Meg and the Quest for the Holy Spark in the 3D theatre, or get your heart pumping again in the spooky and fun Haunted Hotel Attraction. Hoping to cool down a bit? Calaway Park has that, too! Head over to the CP Spray n’ Play, where 15 water features will keep you cool and provide hours of fun. The best part about spending a day at Calaway Park is that all the sttractions and shows are fully included in the price of admission!
Where To Stay:
Not sure where to stay? Calaway Park has you covered for that, too! After a full day at the park, the last thing families want to do is travel a far distance back to their accommodations. At Calaway Park, families can camp just steps from the park in one of the 104 sites available. Choose between full-service sites that are ideal for RVs and trailers, or non-serviced tent sites, and tie your summer camping into your playcation.
