High-ho! High-ho! It’s off to the theatre we go to see Carousel Theatre for Young People’s ingenious re-telling of the classic tale “Snow White.” Grab your crew and head to Waterfront Theatre for a show your whole family will enjoy.

In the classic tale of Snow White, the evil stepmother, torn apart by Snow White’s beauty and goodness, sends a huntsman to kill her and bring back confirmation of the deed. Fortunately, the huntsman’s heart forbids him from committing the deed and he spares her life, with one condition: she must never return to her home and her family. In this delightfully fun and twisted version, playwright Greg Banks has turned the classic “Once Upon a Time” story on its head to delight audiences of all ages.

“Snow White” features a cast of TWO– yes, just TWO actors who play all roles in this re-vamped tale. Furthermore, assumptions of how the characters *should* act are upended in this hilarious tale as the actors engage with the audience, play multiple characters (sometimes at once), and use every ounce of physicality and vocal changes to signal that a new character has entered the story. What emerges is an entertaining and surprising turn of events that will leave audiences spellbound!
