CityFest at The Shipyards

CityFest at The Shipyards celebrates the youth of North Vancouver! For the past fifteen years, local youth organizations and businesses have been working with the City of North Vancouver to celebrate BC’s annual Youth Week. This festival is an amazing undertaking featuring over 400 local youth performers and competitors showcasing their talents in music, dance, drama, fashion, and film. As well, the event includes food booths, a longboard race, and skateboarding competition, the largest of its kind in Metro Vancouver.

Lindsay Follett

In 2012, after nearly 2 decades of fundraising for BC universities, Lindsay Follett was ready for a change of pace and came on board as the City Editor of Family Fun Vancouver. For 10 years she, together with her husband and their two sons, explored every possible family-friendly event and found constant enjoyment in sharing their adventures with the Family Fun Vancouver audience. In 2014, Lindsay took on the additional role as our National Sales and Marketing Director. After stepping down as Editor in 2022, she is excited to focus all of her time working with clients to promote their family-friendly events on our network.
