Taking place on the second Saturday of every month, River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs geared towards families. The Fraser River Discovery Centre is hosting River Basin Days at rotating locations around the Fraser River Basin as they explore this incredible watershed! The staff will guide you through 1-hour of activities, experiments, and art projects as everyone learns about the biodiversity of this great river!

Bust out your pencils and paper, because the Fraser River Discovery Centre is headed to Barnet Marine Park in Burnaby, on Saturday August 14th @2:00pm to practice drawing from life! They’ll teach some observational sketching techniques, play some art games, and paint using real ocean water! No experience is necessary – this workshop is for all ages and abilities.
COVID-19 Safety protocols are in place, so please register in advance. Visit their website to learn more: https://fraserriverdiscovery.org/rbd/
