Santa Claus is coming to town! Visit New Westminster for their Santa Claus Parade and tree lighting celebration. Numerous venues in New Westminster are getting in on the holiday fun with activities for the little ones.
At the Anvil Centre (between 1-am and 1pm) kids can write and send their letters to Santa with Canada Post’s holiday helpers.
The Santa Parade in New Westminster is a community favourite. Be sure to arrive early to get a good spot. The parade, filled with lots of holiday floats, will proceed down Columbia Street. Don’t worry the big man in red will make an appearance! It’s also always a good idea to bundle up and bring a hot drink to stay warm waiting for St. Nick.
