With a motto like “We are all one,” Southridge has welcomed the local community to join their school community for the annual Country Fair since 1995.
Rain or shine, the Southridge Country Fair will be bringing good vibes all day long! Start your day whirling and twirling around on the carnival rides, trying your hand at the carnival games and bouncing to your heart’s content on the bouncy castles and inflatable obstacle courses. The entire Kids Zone is like a giant party within the Country Fair and is sure to keep all ages entertained with the multitude of activities. In addition to the carnival attractions, there will be face painting, a giant slide, toys and games, temporary tattoos, and even a bubble station! A popcorn and cotton candy station is available if you need a quick snack before hitting the vast array of food trucks available to satisfy your hunger.
If you can manage to pry your kids away from the Kids Zone, a fun afternoon awaits as you explore the outdoor artisan market and the garden centre. Catch Southridge students performing throughout the day on the main stage as they demonstrate their talent in performing arts. What could possibly make the Southridge Country Fair even more popular? A giant 500-family Garage Sale! Garage sales are a quintessential part of Spring and bring communities together as they swap gently used toys, books, household items & furniture, and recycled treasures well below the cost of any thrift store. With so many exciting activities wrapped up into a single day, it’s easy to see why the Southridge Country Fair has become a beloved community event drawing in large crowds each year. This event is the perfect way to learn a little bit about the school or just spend a few hours having a blast.
Whether you are considering a Southridge education for your child or you are just looking for a fabulously fun day in the community, the Southridge Country Fair is excited to welcome all ages to this highly anticipated event. Please note that this is a pet-free event. Admission to the event is free and ATMs are available on-site if you need cash for purchases. Free parking and a shuttle bus is available a short distance off-site, with limited free parking available on-site for those needing an accessible option.
