The City of Burnaby invites everyone to enjoy FREE outdoor concerts throughout the summer at Civic Square.
7pm – Andy the Musical Scientist Enjoy live music made with cool recycled objects
8pm – Jacky Essombe Trio Celebrate the richness and community spirit of African culture through traditional dance, songs and storytelling
7pm – Syrian Stories on Wheels: Middle Eastern Tales Give audiences of all ages positive insight and exposure to the rich cultural traditions of Syria
8:15pm – The Blues Berries Their music is fresh, smart and has both parents and children diggin’ every groove!
7pm – Red Fox Society Drum Group & Dancers Red Fox youth teach and lead traditional PowWow drumming and dancing for children
8:30pm – Dancers –V’ni Dansi Come and celebrate the amazing culture and history of the Metis people! V’ni Dansi engages audiences of all ages with their energetic and engaging performances
7pm – Vancouver Puppet Theatre “Four Sisters Show”: Hand-made marionettes come alive and four sisters – four 30 inches tall marionettes “play” four musical instruments: the guitar, accordion, saxophone and banjo
8pm – Magician Rod Boss – 2018 Comedy Magician of the Year
