Coding is the future, and at UTG Academy, students learn valuable skills in programming, creative and critical thinking, and understanding current hi-tech tools used by industry experts. The focus at UTG Academy is not solely on the final product; along the way, kids build confidence with problem-solving, computational, and creative skills. Not only is learning made fun, but it is applicable to student interests and what they may need in the future.
UTG Academy provides exceptional STEM programs to students in grades 1-12. Experienced instructors help students learn the tools they need to create anything they can imagine.
Spring Break Camps are the perfect time to try out a new skill. No prior experience is necessary, and children are grouped by age and interest into small class groups. In addition to time for learning and coding, each camp also builds in time for a snack and outside time. Each camp is half day and families can choose whether morning or afternoon works best.
Choose from one of the incredible Spring Break Camps at UTG:
3D Printing and Digital Art (ages 7-14): Students in this camp will be working with Tinkercad for 3D modeling and Pivot to create animation for a short film. Campers will have the opportunity to design a 3D model and print it off the 3D printer, design a functional car for the “pinewood derby” race, and learn how to create their own short film using digital art and animation.

Time: 9am-12:15pm or 12:45-4pm
Robotics Camp (ages 7-14): At this camp, students will dive into the exciting field of robotics using kits and tools like VEX-IQ robots. Once they learn the technology, students will build and program their own robots from start to finish, learning about sensors, motors, and engineering principles along the way.
