Enter the fascinating world of Transfer and Landfill operations and find out where your garbage, food scraps and green waste ends up. This behind the scenes tour of the landfill is a family fun adventure you don’t want to miss!

- Hop inside and pretend you’re the operator of landfill equipment
- Take a wheelchair accessible guided bus tour of the landfill
- Meet the trained hawks and other members of the Bird Control Team
- Visit interactive displays on zero waste and environmental conservation
- Get creative with face painting, Junkology, science activities, a giant sandbox, and more
- Snack on free food and refreshments

Shuttle buses will transport you between the parking and event areas. They are not within walking distance this year due to construction activities.
