Westside Montessori Academy Summer Camps

Summer is a time for children to learn, explore, and have fun in a relaxed and nurturing environment.

Westside Montessori Academy’s summer camps offer an enriching experience for children with a blend of educational activities, outdoor adventures, and opportunities for social and personal growth. The Montessori philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, independence, and respect for each child’s individuality.

Summer camps at Westside Montessori Academy provide a child-centered environment where children can explore their interests, make choices, and engage in activities that align with their developmental needs. This approach fosters independence, critical thinking skills, and a love of learning.

WMA Summer Camps strive for a wide variety of activities to offer Vancouver-area families. They employ talented specialists and support staff to ensure the children are safe, well cared for and, of course, happy!

Littlest Campers (ages 3-5):

Your preschooler will thrive at Westside Montessori Academy Summer Camps!

The summer camp theme for this age group is Magical and Mischief Casa Art Camps. Your little one will love exploring mythical creatures, creating magical fun snacks, arts and crafts in a fairytale-like classroom.

The camp is offered weekly from July 10-14 and July 17-21, 2023. Both full-day camps (8:30am-3:30pm) and half-day camps (8:30am-12:30pm) are available for each week of summer camp.

For campers enrolled in the full-day camps, afternoons will be spent exploring nature, art and science experiments outside. If your child loves soccer, they will be thrilled to learn that the Happy Feet soccer program will also be on-site to run soccer games and activities. Half-day camps are $250/week and full-day camps are $450/week.

Bigger Campers (ages 5-11):

School-age children love learning and playing in a hands-on manner as they explore different textures and sensory experiences.

This summer, campers will explore the great outdoors through Westside Montessori Academy’s Natural Arts and Adventure program.

Campers will learn how to make beautiful art using organic fibres and other materials found in nature. Each day, students will learn how to make wall hangings, chimes, jewelry, balms, and candles.

Experienced instructors will show students how to cook easy, sustainable recipes. But it’s not all learning- campers will also engage in fort-building competitions, relay games and picnics on sunny days.

This camp runs weekly from July 3-7, July 10-14, and July 17-21 from 8:30am-4pm and is $450/week.
