Spring Break is WILD at the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre!

If you haven’t been to the Ecology Centre in a while, put it at the top of your list for Spring Break. Nestled in the trees in beautiful Lynn Canyon, the building itself is designed in the shape of a dogwood flower, which is BC’s provincial flower. Moving inside the building, visitors will be treated to plenty of educational programming and interactive, hands-on exhibits. Tour the Animal Gallery to learn about animal food chains and defenses, the Plant Gallery to understand more about the temperate rainforests we live in, and the Children’s Gallery where you will find puppets, activities, and a whole bunch of natural history items such as bird eggs and snake skins.

Spring Break at Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre is also filled with wildlife programming encouraging families to get inspired, get educated, and get involved in the world around them! Learn about the rich biodiversity of our planet from the experts who care for wildlife. Ecology Centre Naturalists and guest presenters have arranged two full weeks of programs, workshops, nature walks, and more. All events are by donation, with a recommendation of $3.50 per person or $6 per family, per program.
