If your kids love to move, then Absolute Dance Summer Dance Camps are guaranteed to help them express their creativity! And the great thing is that both these camps are for all levels, but no previous dance experience is necessary. There are two summer camp options, and two sessions of each camp are available in August in order to suit your family’s schedule.
Tinkerbells and Toads – half day summer camp for ages 3-5
This half-day summer camp is designed for boys and girls! Your little groover will explore a variety of dance styles (ballet basics, musical theatre, rhythm, hip hop and more), plus make crafts, sing songs, and read and act out stories.
When: Monday August 14-Friday August 18 and Monday August 21-Friday August 25
Time: Morning Camp 9am-12pm (offered both weeks; afternoon camp 1-4 pm (August 14-18 only)
Cost: $200+GST
Let’s Build A Show – full day summer camps for 6-10 year olds
This full day summer camp is designed for boys and girls! Your creative child will explore a variety of dance styles (hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary, acro and more) as well as make crafts, learn theatre lighting and sound, and put together a show to perform on the last day of camp!
When: Monday August 14th-Friday August 18 and Monday August 21-Friday August 25
Time: 9am-4pm
Cost: $300+GST
The location for both camps is at the Absolute Dance studio, conveniently located in the Greenview Industrial Park, located at 105-630 46 Ave. NE, Calgary.
