If your child loves to dash around the neighbourhood on their skateboard or scooter, then Evolve camps are a perfect way to bring out their inner adventurer! Evolve camps are unique in that they take a backyard hobby and shape it into a passion. Physical fitness, confidence building and above all FUN are all built into everything Evolve does to encourage kids to try non-traditional sports. Evolve offers two summer camp options in Calgary: one for Scooters and one for Skateboarders. Both these camps are designed to give boys and girls between the ages of 6 -15 a good foundation to start with and then the ability to increase their skills. All experience levels are welcome. Campers will get outside to explore Calgary because each day of the camp is located at a different skate park, including Huntington Hills Skatepark, Shaw Millennium Park, Southwood Skatepark, New Brighton Skatepark and Chinook Winds Skatepark. And parents won’t have to drive their campers all over because the camp fee includes bus transportation to and from each of the venues from designated locations! The bus routes will be finalized once camp registrations are received.
Each camper will learn lots during the week, based on their age and ability under the supervision qualified coaches. But it’s not all work! Each camp has plenty of opportunity for fun, including yoga and stretching, games, contests and the chance to win some great prizes throughout the week.
There are several sessions that run throughout the summer.
