Head out to Airdrie for the city’s annual Festival of Lights from December 1st to 31st. The event features beautiful Christmas lights and lots of things to do, like miniature train rides, hot chocolate, bonfires, and skating. There are special events, like Santa visits, too; check the calendar to make your plans.

Donations are welcome.

New Year’s Eve

December 31st is the last night to enjoy the beautiful holiday light displays in Nose Creek Park. From 7 – 9 pm, get your groove on with a family-friendly dance party and a whole lot of fun inside the heated tent. This is all in addition to the miniature train rides, hot chocolate, fire pits, and lovely lights! Fireworks usually take place at 6:30 pm in Ed Eggerer Park, then you can head straight over to Nose Creek Park afterwards. Watch for updates here.
