Kids love LEGO®. Parents love LEGO® too, despite the agony of stepping on a stray piece in the dark! It’s so great for teaching kids about principles of architecture and design, plus all the STEAM concepts: science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, all while kids have a great time! Bricks 4 Kidz steps up the action when summer arrives, with a fantastic selection of summer camps that offer play and learning in an exciting, fun, and inspiring environment.
LEGO® has come a long way from building simple houses and cars, with today’s motorized machines, art mosaics, and robotics added to the mix. In addition to developing robotics proficiency and technical know-how at a Bricks 4 Kidz camp, kids continue advancing their classroom and social skills, following directions, staying organized, and practicing patience, teamwork and effective communication. Kids’ self-esteem is enhanced by the pride they feel in solving problems and completing projects. Bricks 4 Kidz summer camps get your kids doing so much more than just playing with LEGO®, but they’ll be having way too much fun to notice how much they’re learning!
All camps make use of activity stations which include traditional bricks, motorized technic models, LEGO® art mosaics, creative free play, and themed games and challenges. Bricks 4 Kidz uses specially designed kits and model plans that align with their curriculum. Sessions also include a snack break and outdoor play (weather permitting).
There are a couple of different options for summer camps and they are offered at the Creativity Centre location in Renfrew and multiple community venues all across the city. Building camps are available to kids ages 5 – 12 and technology camps are for ages 7 and up and add the elements of coding and game design.
Camps are offered in the morning (9 am – 12 pm) or afternoon (1 – 4 pm) and morning and afternoon themes complement each other. If you make your own full day camp and register for both morning and afternoon sessions, you will receive complimentary lunchtime supervision. Before and after childcare is only available (for a fee) at the Creativity Centre location in Renfrew.
With 13 locations for summer camps and 16 themes to choose from, you’ll be able to find just the right fit for your LEGO® lover. Think of a Jurassic Brick Land Camp, Coding (Scratch + Building with WeDo), Super Hero World, and new camps like Brick Royale and Building is Awesome (to name just a few!). There really is a Bricks 4 Kidz camp to appeal to every kid!
This year kids ages 5 – 12 can also experience one-day STEAM camps at the Renfrew location, if that better suits your schedule.

Sign up for one or many – each day will be full of hands-on, minds on fun as we build traditional brick figures, motorized technic machines, Lego art mosaics from our favourite themes. Make it a full day of fun – children registered in both am & pm will be provided free lunch supervision. Outdoor park play breaks (weather permitting).
