Have you ever been curious about Calgary’s public art?

We are a public art city, and Calgary Arts Development has launched the Interactive Calgary Public Art Guide! This digital map is a wonderful way to learn more about the public art around us. As it’s interactive, you can also add your own discoveries.

“This guide is inclusive and reflects the vast amount and diversity of public art in our city,” says Patti Pon, President & CEO of Calgary Arts Development. “It includes more than the works in the civic art collection — this guide is meant to include any artwork that is accessible, in the public realm and created by an artist. We are launching it with about 500 public artworks throughout the city, and we’ll be excited to see it grow as folks interact with it and add their own picks. The Public Art Guide is an opportunity for Calgarians to learn more about the stories and the people who make this a wonderful place to live.”
