Just a short drive away from Calgary in Kananaskis Country, you’ll find Camp Cadicasu, an outdoor education and retreat centre that has been welcoming visitors and campers for nearly 100 years. It’s a place to connect with nature. And it’s a place to connect with yourself and those around you.

Camp Cadicasu is known for its summer camps, with a beautiful outdoor space, amazing staff, and a sense of community. The camp’s mission is to “increase confidence, inspire purpose-driven lives, and deepen spirituality for people of all different faiths,” and they accomplish this mainly through their summer camps.

Summer Camps
Summer camps at Cadicasu are a place to create cherished memories. Kids will experience the natural world and the warmth of their community while they enjoy fun activities and make new friends. These overnight camps are for kids ages 7 – 15 years and typically run for a week in the summer.

Leader-In-Training (LIT) Program
Camp Cadicasu is also launching a three-year Leader-In-Training program to develop young leaders, ages 15 – 17. Teens will gain new skills and abilities; leadership development and responsibility are at the centre of this program and high school work experience credits can be earned.

School Year Camps
When it’s not summer, kids ages 7 – 15 can also enjoy school year camps that take place on a weekend. Upcoming camps will run from March 8 – 10 and April 12 – 14, 2024.

Camp Cadicasu provides a variety of kid-friendly activities. It’s a chance to be immersed in nature, because part of good mental health is having a growth mindset, trying new things, learning, and of course, getting outside! They often have special weekend events for the family and it’s a great destination for school field trips. Plus, they offer rentals for your special event.

It’s time to reconnect with nature and each other. It’s time to check out Camp Cadicasu!
