Cochrane Historical Museum opened its doors only a couple years ago and allows you to take a trip down memory lane. The museum is in the Old Davies Hospital, the town’s first hospital, built in 1909.
The museum is located on the Cochrane Ranche Site, surrounded by the walking trails. Admission is free, though donations are accepted. There is watercolour pencil colouring and a scavenger hunt for kids. It is open Friday 11 am – 4 pm, Saturday 9 am – 4 pm (on Saturdays the Ranche also hosts a farmers market in the park, so make a day of it!), and Sunday 12 – 4 pm during the summer.
