The Lancaster Bomber is one of the most iconic aircraft associated with World War II, and very few of these amazing planes are left. Nanton’s Bomber Command Museum is not only home to a Lancaster, but also many other vehicles and artifacts from WWII.
In addition to the displays and information provided by the knowledgeable Nanton Lancaster Society volunteers, the Bomber Command Museum offers a number of special events throughout the spring and summer to educate visitors on the history of aircraft and the war. This is an important slice of our history, and the museum provides an invaluable educational experience for both young and old. Admission to the museum is by donation.
