Technology is obviously part of our world and our kids will be growing up and creating careers with this reality. This summer, EdgeMakers has joined with STEM Learning Lab for summer camps that will give your kids the skill of tomorrow, today!

EdgeMakers’s STEM Learning Lab offers a wide variety of summer camps in Calgary. These hands-on, creative summer camps give your kids the chance to play with learning and exploration in the areas that will build skills for the rest of their lives. STEM Learning Lab encourages student involvement in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. Kids get to play, create, and explore, offering an education that will be naturally incorporated into their life. STEM Learning Lab believes that kids learn best when they are engaged in fun, challenge-based, hands-on learning experiences. When you connect the school curriculum to the real world in practical and meaningful ways, you spark life-long learning. Once you begin, the possibilities for fun and discovery are endless!

Summer camps at STEM Learning Lab are based on a growth mindset as they offer highly interactive robotics, math, and learning camps, giving kids a well-rounded, connected, and meaningful learning experience. Camps run from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm every week at the STEM Learning Lab, starting on July 2, 2019, for kids ages 6 to 13. Kids can be dropped off as early as 8 am and if you need extended care in the afternoon, it’s available for a small fee. A wide variety of topics mean your child will have an amazing week! Check out Robotics (and Jr. Jedi Robotics) or Minecraft Mania and Minecraft Modding. Code video games or discover an art/technology mash-up. Older kids can even explore 3-D printing and design or app development. With so many options, kids will discover something they’re passionate about.

This summer your kids can learn the skills they need tomorrow, all while having a wonderful time creating and exploring the fields of STEM today! Registration is open, so register now, while space is still available.
