Created by the Airdrie Arts & Culture Council, ARTember connects local artists, businesses, tourism, and community experiences across the city. Families can pick up an ARTember Art Passport and spend September exploring participating businesses, discovering artists, attending events, and collecting stamps. With artwork, demonstrations, performances, themed routes, and creative experiences to uncover, every stop offers another reason to see Airdrie from a fresh perspective. The passport launches September 1 and continues through September 30, so the family fun can extend well beyond one weekend.
The excitement continues on September 12, 2026, at airdrieFEST, Airdrie’s signature street festival. This free, family-friendly celebration welcomes more than 8,000 attendees each year and transforms downtown into a lively showcase of local businesses, artisans, community organizations, sport groups, entertainment, and hands-on activities. Kids can play, parents can explore, and the whole family can discover more of what makes Airdrie special.
Wrap up the weekend at Airdrie Sports Try-It Day on September 13, 2026, at Genesis Place. Meet local sport organizations, watch interactive demonstrations, enjoy family activities and food trucks, and give a new activity a try.
