Whether you want to enjoy safe Halloween fun with your little monsters or jump scare your teenagers, head to Ghouls’ Night Out at Heritage Park! This year, you’ll find new experiences – including those for older kids — that will bring Halloween excitement for the whole family!

Heritage Park Ghouls’ Night Out

From October 23 – 26, 2025, Heritage Park is embracing the Halloween spirit to help your family enjoy freaky family fun with old favourites and brand-new activities, plus enhanced lighting and décor that will elevate the overall atmosphere!

Wondering what’s new in 2025? Well, you’ll want to check out the Alberta Ghostbusters HQ. Lights, music, and spooky special effects will surround you while you explore authentic props straight from Ghostbusters. Plus, you can meet costumed Ghostbusters in full gear and enjoy interactive activities. But make sure you have time to stop by the Halloween Market for all your spooky treasures. And while you’re at the Market, take advantage of Haunted Calgary’s Monster Memory Parlour for a one-of-a-kind photo adventure!

This event is geared toward families, so it’s not too spooky. The Ghouls’ Night Out classics have made this experience a beloved fall tradition for many Calgary families. Visit the Haunted House and the Ghost Train. Enjoy the roaming characters, do a craft, and cut loose at the dance party. There is SO much going on at Ghouls’ Night Out!

If your family has loved the magic of Heritage Park at Halloween, but the kids are getting older, check out “Unsettled.” This haunted experience is brand-new for 2025 and is designed for kids who have outgrown the ‘sweet’ side of Halloween! If you have older kids (ages 12+) looking for a spookier, more immersive experience, upgrade your ticket and discover a chilling haunted village with terrifying scenes and unsettling encounters. (Parents of younger children: don’t worry. This experience is separate from the rest of Ghouls’ Night Out.)

What Else?

Dress for the weather with warm layers, hats, and mittens (as well as your Halloween costume, of course!). Wear comfortable footwear and feel free to bring a stroller or wagon to help little ones get around. There will be tons of photo opportunities to capture memories of your little ghouls. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight to help you find your way once it gets dark!
