The Glacier Skywalk, located near the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre (which is one hour from Jasper or two and a half hours from Banff), gives guests a one-of-a-kind mountain experience. This marvel of engineering allows visitors to walk out on a glass-floored walkway that extends from a cliff, looking 280 metres (918 ft) over the Sunwapta Valley. The whole experience is presented in an interpretive storytelling format so that visitors can learn about the wilderness that they see around them. The Glacier Skywalk experience is completely barrier-free and fully accessible to all abilities.
