After the joy and excitement of Christmas, how will your kids fill their days before they head back to school? What about Winter Drama Day Camps from Pumphouse Theatre? It’s the perfect way to warm up the rest of the holidays and bring your young artist’s imagination in from the cold!
Pumphouse Theatre features a wide variety of companies and performances, but beyond theatre productions, they also provide a drama education program. Their vibrant classes introduce the drama basics, offering a host of skills for every child. It’s all about learning how to communicate and express yourself, developing confidence and poise, and learning how to think outside the box. It’s imagination, self-discipline, and critical thinking skills.
Winter Drama Day Camps are the perfect chance for your kids to jump into drama or just get a taste. From January 2 – 5, 2024, kids ages 7 – 15 will enjoy a creative outlet at these camps. It doesn’t matter whether your kids have ever explored the world of drama, there will be something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned pros! Each day will be a different theme and packed with drama activities, led by engaging instructors. Kids can try everything from mask-making to playwriting and puppets to character creation. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the arts, make new friends, and finish the holiday with loads of fun!
Day Camp hours at Pumphouse Theatre are from 9 am – 4:30 pm and complimentary pre-care (8 – 9 am) and post-care (4:30 – 5:30 pm) are available. You’ll receive an early bird discount of $50 if you register at least 30 days before the class begins and you’ll also receive a multi-child discount of $50 if you register more than one child from the same household.
