Experience what it was like for Olympic athletes to whiz down the 450-metre oval ice surface when you go public skating at the Olympic Oval! You can see the schedule here.
SUMMER | On select Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, cool off at the Oval! These public sessions run from July 22, 2026, to September 2, 2026. (Note that there is no session on August 8 or 22, 2026.
WINTER | On select Monday nights, head to the Oval for the Monday Nights Toonie Skates from 6 – 8 PM. On these special evenings, you skate for just $2. Be sure to check the schedule, as Toonie Skates don’t run every Monday night. The first one of the season is September 14, 2026
Please note that everyone must wear a helmet when they skate at the Oval. Helmets are available for rent.
