Do you know any kids who appreciate a sensory-friendly environment?

Southcentre Mall is proud to be providing supportive, accessible Halloween festivities. Trick-or-treating is a part of many families’ Halloween traditions, but for children with sensory processing difficulties, costumes, darkness, sounds, smells, large crowds, and other traditions can be overwhelming and stressful.

A Special Time for Halloween is tailored to families and children with sensory processing difficulties, mobility issues, and other challenges. This event is on October 27, 2019, from 8:30 to 11 am, prior to the mall opening.

Costumes are optional for the children and not recommended for adults. Southcentre asks that no one wears face masks or overtly scary costumes.

Families can reserve tickets for A Special Time for Halloween here.
