You don’t have to be into riding horses to enjoy watching some world-class show jumping at Spruce Meadows!

This premier equestrian facility is conveniently located just at the southern edge of the city and hosts several top-tier show jumping tournaments throughout the year. The big tournaments are often accompanied by other events to entertain the whole family, just in case anyone needs a break from watching the intense competition!

The International Ring at Spruce Meadows is undergoing some significant improvements this summer, as such, Spruce Meadows will only be offering the fans’ festival (general admission) seating in the summer of 2022. As with many things, Spruce Meadows is evolving, and through the governing and regulating bodies, there will now be a requirement for each person on the grounds to have a ticket in their possession prior to arriving at the facility. Thank you for your patience.

Founders’ Classic

The Founders’ Classic Tournament welcomes horses and riders to the first tournament of the season where spectators can visit! This tournament is new for 2022. While you’re at Spruce Meadows to view the competitions, hopefully, you can visit the newborn foals and maybe even enjoy the flowers in bloom. A food concession may be available to help you enjoy your day.
