Spring Has Sprung! Start Your Indoor Home Garden

Home Garden (Family Fun Calgary)

Spring has sprung! Let’s celebrate the start of the new season by planting our own home garden –  March and April are the perfect months to start your indoor seedlings. If you’ve never had much of a green thumb, now is the time to bring the great outdoors inside with seedlings, succulents, and house plants.

Veseys Seeds is a great resource for tips on all gardening inquiries. Not sure how to start an indoor garden? They will give you lots of pointers on starting seeds indoors and Canadian hardiness zones and frost dates.

Homeschooling? Why not keep a log of the seedlings and introduce your latest science lesson – the lifecycle of a plant. The kids will love to watch their plants grow and this could potentially consume hours and hours over the next few weeks!
