Families are invited to check out Stretch Fest, a family-friendly fundraising festival that will take place from May 20 – 21, 2023, at the Crossroads Market and June 3 – 4, 2023, at the Calgary Farmers’ Market South. Calgary’s community of entertainers will be donating their time and services to provide free balloon animals, face painting, magic, and more for families to enjoy.
Stretch Fest is in honour of Michael Stretch, a balloon artist and a regular busker and entertainer at all the markets and large-scale events in Calgary. Any funds raised will be donated to Canadian Blood Services Organ and Tissue Donation, a cause that Michael was passionate about and in his passing, he was able to make others’ lives better through organ donation.
