Have you been to Vin Gogh yet? It is the first wine and paint spot in Canada, and it sounds like a blast. Usually open for adults’ evenings, they have started offering birthday parties, and welcoming children 9 and up during the day on Saturday. Spring break camps are a new venture, and it sounds awesome. When I was a tween (before such a word existed) I would have died to go to a camp like this.
The camp will run for four days and there is a camp offered each week Calgary schools are out. Each camp is half the day so you will still have time to spend with your young artiste. Every day will be divided in two, with a food decoration portion (pizza and goodies to take home) and a painting portion. In the end your child will have 4 acrylic on canvas works of art you can proudly display (nothing for the “Do I have to save this?!?!” file, we promise!)
Vin Gogh Spring Break Camps run March 23 – 26; March 30 – April 2; and April 7 – 10, from 9:30 -12:30. Doors will be open at 9:00, please arrive by 9:20 to allow time to settle in. Parents are welcome to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine if they are early for pick-up. Registration is $250 for the week, which includes both daily activities plus a healthy, nut-free snack.
