The Jazz Festival is proudly hosted by The Edmonton Jazz Festival Society. Through this amazing annual event, the EJFS seeks to connect people through music and promote the development and enjoyment of jazz music in Edmonton. Not only do they bring some of the best international and national talent to our city, but they help shine a light on our local established and developing artists during this exciting 6-day concert event!

Saturday, June 29 | Jazz fans of all ages won’t want to miss the Edmonton International Jazz Festival’s spectacular concert Swinging Songs of Broadway: EJO meets ESO at the Winspear Centre. This Sunday afternoon matinee will be a one-of-a-kind concert collaboration that brings together The Edmonton Jazz Orchestra and members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra Strings.
This special marquee performance curated for the entire family will combine the energy of a big band with the lush and sophisticated strings of an orchestra, ensuring a perfect afternoon of adventures in jazz music. The two-set concert with include familiar repertoire like Mambo & Cool (West Side Story), Chim Chim Cheree, Summer Time (Porgy and Bess), and classic songs like Too Close For Comfort (Mr. Wonderful), Anything Goes (Anything Goes), This Can’t Be Love (Boys From Syracuse), The Bare Necessities (The Jungle Book), and Let It Go (Frozen).
