Galaxy Fest 2024 at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton | July 1

July 1 also marks the Science Center’s 40th birthday! To celebrate they will be putting on a full day of fun during Galaxy Fest 2024. Be there for this exciting throwback celebration that includes their LARGEST rocket launch to date, birthday cake, liquid nitrogen ice cream, the science of fireworks, DIY dino hats, a mascot party, and MORE!


Take Me Out to the Riverhawks Ball Game! | Throughout July

Get out and watch a baseball game this summer at the open air RE/MAX field in the heart of our downtown river valley. This month offers 12 unique theme nights including First Responders Night, Kids Takeover, Superhero Night, Star Wars Night, Foodie Night, and more. Friday games even include a spectacular fireworks show after the game!


Edmonton International Street Performers Festival | July 4-13

🆓 Every July the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival transforms Churchill Square into an outdoor 3 ring circus! This year they are celebrating 40 years of bringing in some of the world’s best local, national and international street artists to perform in the incredible circle-show and rove among the streets.


Horsepower for Hope CAR-nival | July 5

🆓 Get revved up and help support a great cause! This FREE and family-friendly outdoor event at Edmonton EXPO Centre will feature a 200+ car show & shine, race cars, modified cars, a chance to meet the Edmonton Police Service and K9 unit, a Kids Zone, and live auto-cross track. Best of all, all proceeds raised go to support the Kids with Cancer Society.


See an Edmonton Elks Football Game with the Family | July 6 & 13

Enjoy a night of family-friendly CFL football action at Commonwealth Stadium. July 6 is the construction-themed Hard Hat Huddle with excavators and diggers in tailgate, and July 13 is a Prehistoric Party with a baby dinosaur crawl and T-REX Combine inflatable for the kids! Plan to be there 2 hours before kick-off to experience everything Fan Park has to offer, including The Brick Kids Zone! The kids will have a blast with the inflatables, balloon artists, face painters, football mini games, and the Kids Zone Express Train.


Grove Gatherings – Performances in the Park | July 8, 15, 22 & 29

🆓 Enjoy a FREE outdoor performance in Spruce Grove parks every Tuesday! Grove Gatherings will feature local musicians, dancers, circus performers, cultural groups, and more. This month includes improv theatre with Rapid Fire Theatre, live country music with Ryan Show, Indie Rock/Irish with OStella, and Indigenous Hoop Dancing with Dallas Arcand.


Europa Super Circus | July 10-20

The Europa Super Circus is coming to Londonderry Mall with 18 mesmerizing performances under the Big Top from July 10–20, 2025! Enjoy a high-energy show packed with jaw-dropping stunts, dazzling visuals, and family-friendly fun featuring acrobats, aerialists, FMX riders, roller skaters, and hilarious clowns.


Grab a FREE Slurpee on 7-Eleven Day | July 11

🆓 Canadians from coast to coast can once again take part in Canada’s biggest Slurpee Run on 7-Eleven Day! To mark “their” day, participating 7-Eleven stores are giving out a FREE small sized slush to all customers on Thursday, July 11, 2024.  Just don’t drink it too fast!


The Ultimate Car Show at Reynolds Museum | July 12

Head to the Reynolds Museum in Wetaskiwin for the Ultimate Car Show! It will be a spectacular display of automotive history, from 1900 to today. The Big Bounce Canada | July 26 – August 3

The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle is returning to Edmonton’s RAD Torque Raceway!
