Strathcona County Museum Summer Camps

Summer 2019 will be a blast from the past with Time Travelling Summer Camps at Strathcona County Museum! History will come to life in these fun, exciting and educational camps for children in grades 4 through 6. Kids will spend their days exploring all that Strathcona County’s Museum has to offer, featuring a different theme each day!

Time Travelling Science Camps – daily themes:

  • Monday: First Nations (Archaeology & Ecology)
  • Tuesday:  Explorers & the Fur Trade (Geography & Zoology)
  • Wednesday:  Agriculture Sciences (Crops, Dairy & Bees)
  • Thursday: Pioneer Home Sciences (Chemistry & Engineering)
  • Friday: Coal, Rail & Oil (Engineering & Geology)

Camps are offered July 8 to 12, 2019 or July 22 to 26, 2019. They run 9 am to 4 pm with early drop off available at 8 am and late pickup offered to 5 pm. Best of all, you can register for the full week or choose the single day option! Registration is now open and limited spots are available.
