TELUS World of Science – Edmonton is open every day this summer, offering exciting events and activities for families and science lovers! Enjoy a variety of laser shows for all music fans, including K-Pop Demon Hunters, take part in an ice cream competition, and check out the latest feature exhibit, perfect for dog lovers. There’s something for every interest and every family member.
You won’t want to miss the paw-some new feature exhibit, Dogs! A Science Tail at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton! This exhibit showcases life from a dog’s point of view and dives deeper into dogs’ relationships with humans and how they communicate with us. Enjoy fun activities such as training a virtual dog, comparing replica fossils from wolves and dogs, walking an invisible dog, learning about dog careers, checking out Superpower Dogs in IMAX 3D, and so much more. You might even meet a real dog or two with service dog visitors. New this summer, meet R-D the Robot Dog! Watch daily demonstrations from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM as R-D explores the exhibit and shows off its impressive robotic abilities.
Find out just how sweet science can be! Every Sunday in July, watch two delicious ice cream flavours come to life during the Science Sundaes liquid nitrogen ice cream competition. Sample both flavours, cast your vote for your favourite, and help crown the ultimate Science Sundaes Champion after four weeks of competition. Every Sunday features fun flavour themes, such as Cookie Clash, K-Pop vs Swifties, and Fair Food Face-Off! Families can also enjoy extra ice cream-themed activities throughout the science centre, including Ice Cream Truck Racers in the Science Garage and on Championship Sunday, browse the Hello Pretty Market while celebrating the winning flavour. Get ready to unleash your inner idol with the mind-blowing K-Pop Demon Hunters Laser Show this summer at the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton’s Zeidler Dome—back by popular demand! Experience jaw-dropping visuals, synchronized lasers, and a soundtrack, featuring songs like How It’s Done, Golden, and Soda Pop, that will have the whole family dancing like demon hunters.
