Snow tubing seems to be gaining in popularity and we have found 3 great places in Edmonton to give it a try with your family. Everyone will love sliding down the groomed chutes on these three ski hills, and there should be no complaining as the different specialized lifts bring you and your tubes right back up to the top of the hill!

All three hills operate weather dependent so be sure to check the individual sites for closure policies. This is an outdoor activity so dress for the weather, including proper footwear and helmets. All locations provide the tubes used for snow tubing and have helmets available for rental.

Edmonton Ski Club

Enjoy sliding down the hill at The Tube Park right in the heart of the city! This tame hill is perfect for all members of the family, and a great introduction to snow tubing. Enjoy coasting down the hill in one of the provided tubes, then let the magic carpet take you and your tube right back up to the top to enjoy it all again! Tubing is available 7 days a week (weather dependent) for just $15+tax per person. Kids aged 4 and under ride FREE when sharing a tube with a paying adult.

1.5 Hour Time slots must be reserved ahead of time online. Helmets are mandatory for all tubers.

Sunridge Ski Area

Claiming to be the “biggest and fastest Snow Tubing Park around,” Sunridge is perfect for the older, more adventurous kids! Riders must be at least 7 years old AND 4 feet tall to tube down the three groomed chutes. Our family visited a couple years ago and the kids loved the ride down, but their favourite part was hooking their tubes up to the dedicated tubing lift and having it take them for a ride in the tube all the way back up the hill!

Tickets are $20 per person for specific two-hour time slots. Advanced booking online is not required, but strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
