The 2026 pre-season kicks off June 20 and 21!
Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is back for the 2026 season with exciting features, family-friendly fun, and plenty of reasons to plan your next day trip to the lake. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary this season, this popular floating water park has been a favourite for families across Alberta, and this summer it’s bigger, better, and bouncier than ever. Get ready to dive into all the fun this summer in Sylvan Lake!
The park offers a lineup of up to 100 floating obstacles that challenge kids (and grown-ups!) to climb, jump, slide, balance, and bounce their way across the lake. Highlights include giant climbing slides, trampolines, monkey bars, launch bags, domes, and the towering “Iceberg” and “Multi-Climb Tower.” Whether you’re racing across speed corners or testing your skills on quarter pipes and zigzags, Aqua Splash is all about nonstop adventure!
Safety is key, and the park’s setup is no small feat. It takes over two weeks and more than 100 hours of scuba diving to secure each component to the lakebed using a mix of screw and concrete anchors. Safety is always the top priority.
Guests can also feel confident knowing Aqua Splash employs around 45 staff members throughout the season, including 10 to 12 certified lifeguards, with a minimum of five monitoring the park during peak hours.

The 2026 pre-season weekend opening is set for June 20 to 21, before the park officially launches into daily operations on June 27. Aqua Splash will stay open through Labour Day, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the fun all summer long.
On-shore fun will add even more excitement to your visit. Expect spontaneous giveaways like freezies, T-shirts, and game prizes, plus extra-special celebrations on holidays like Canada Day.
