Fly Into March Break at the Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum
Looking for fun and educational activities to keep your kids entertained this March Break? Why not take a day trip out of the city to the Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum, located less than 30 minutes from Halifax in Goffs, NS (opposite the Halifax Airport). ACAM is Atlantic Canada’s only museum devoted to preserving all aspects of Atlantic Canada’s aviation heritage.

🆓 Daily Events at The Library: There are tons of FREE March Break Events at the Halifax Public Libraries, including movies, magic shows, crafts, mad science demonstrations, music, and much more.
Family Favourites at Cineplex all March Long: Every Saturday in March, there will be a new family favourite movie at select Cineplex theatres, starting at just $3.99*. March 14th will be The Bad Guys 2 and March 21st will be The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants.
Family-Friendly Museum Exhibits throughout HRM: Whether you are passing along your appreciation for the visual arts or hoping to teach your child about the world and all of its creatures, there is something for everyone in HRM over March Break.
March Break at the Discovery Centre: Book your visit ahead of time and choose one of their daily slots, 9-noon or 1-4. They will also be open late on March 19 from 5-8pm!
Spring Play Days with Indigo Kids: Daily activities at 11 am and 1 pm from March 15th to the 22st. Registration is required.
Hotels with Pools and Waterparks in HRM: When a long trip is not in the cards, a staycation can be just what the doctor ordered. And while there are many attractive hotel amenities, let’s face it – if you have kids, you want a place with a pool.
