Dive into a fintastic family weekend at the Discovery Centre for Oceans Week on June 8 – 9, 2024! Make a splash with touch tank shows, where you can get up close and personal with ocean critters, make waves at the Divert Ocean Action Zone, where you can learn how to reduce your plastic footprint, and immerse yourself in underwater adventures with VR, hands-on activities, and a flood of ocean experts!
The youngest junior oceanauts will have a special program just for them, too! This is intended for kids ages 2 – 5, to get hands-on exploring ocean science and the diversity of life under the sea. Soak in a Touch Pool Show, make a take-home puppet, and swim into the Ocean Gallery to shape a sandy shoreline and meet the critters that call our shores home. Join Little Learners: Marine Mysteries on June 9, 2024, from 10 – 11 am.
