Family-Friendly Events Happening This March in Halifax and Beyond!

Sackville Sandwich Week (March 2-9): Visit any (or all!) of the participating restaurants serving up specially crafted sandwiches for a great cause. Visit 3 locations for your chance to win a family membership to the Sackville Sports Stadium!

Mini Pops Live (March 2): Canada’s best-selling kid’s music group, the Mini Pop Kids, will be bringing their talents to the stage of the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, LIVE in Halifax, performing family-friendly versions of the year’s biggest hits.

Home Depot Workshop for Kids (March 9): Looking for a fun activity for Saturday morning? Bring your kids (aged 5-12 years) to the Home Depot Workshop for Kids – a FREE kids workshop! Each month there is a new project for the kids to create, using wood, hammers, and glue.

Atlantic Outdoor Sports and RV Show (March 8-10):  Get inspired for summer in the great outdoors! If you like hiking, camping, and outdoor adventures, you will find it all at the Sports and RV Show.

Easter Extravaganza (March 29): This Easter, families across Halifax are invited to join the festivities at the annual Easter Extravaganza Fundraiser at Halifax Dance.

Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Discovery Centre, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Museum of Natural History, Africville Museum, Halifax Central Library, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Shearwater Aviation Museum, Ross Farm Museum and Shubenacadie Wildlife Farm.
